Rtn. Ramesh Agrawal, a distinguished humanitarian and dynamic leader, joined Rotary at the age of 27 in 1988-89 as a member of the Rotary Club of Delhi City, district 3010, serving as its President in 1998-99. He played a pivotal role in forming the Rotary Club of Delhi Ashoka in District 3012 during 2000-01, where he continues as a dedicated member. Together with his spouse, He is a proud member of the Arch C. Klumph (AKS) Society, having contributed USD 250,000 (approx. INR 2.15 crore) to The Rotary Foundation.

He is a passionate speaker, having addressed numerous Rotary Institutes, district conferences, assemblies, and seminars globally. He has been a panellist at WinS breakout sessions at Rotary Conventions in Seoul, Atlanta, and Hamburg, and frequently appears on DD National TV to discuss WASH, WinS, and societal issues.
Born and raised in Sikkim, He completed his B.Arch. (Hons.) with distinction from Chandigarh College of Architecture in 1986, and earned his M.Arch. from UCLA, where he served on the postgraduate admissions committee — a rare honour for an Indian student. He is a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Architects and a member of the Council of Architecture.
Professionally, He is the Managing Director of Ramesh Aggarwal and Associates Pvt. Ltd. and other family-promoted companies, active in real estate development in Delhi and power infrastructure in Sikkim.
Rtn. Ramesh Agarwal is married to Nanda, an Arts graduate from Loreto College, Darjeeling. They are blessed with two children: Bhavika, an architect (SPA Delhi) and MFA graduate (School of Visual Arts, New York); and Vishwam, an electronics engineer (VIT) with an MS in Control Systems (Arizona State University). Both are Paul Harris Fellows.
